Peter Walter Bennick, age 85, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his Mayville home. Peter was born March 9, 1927 on the family farm in Wells Township, the youngest son of the late Michael and Antoniette (Kapusta) Beniuk. Peter enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. Upon his return from the military, he moved to Detroit and went to work for Cadillac Motor Company. He later went to work for W.T.
